Representation: Is the way certain groups of people are represented through the media; they are often stereotyped and biased through images that affect our views of people across the world.

Stereotype: They reflect ideas that groups of people hold about others who are different from them.
Stereotypes can be either positive black men are good at Dancing or negative women are bad drivers. But most stereotypes tend to make us feel superior in some way to the person or group being stereotyped.

Young people are represented as violent troublesome, and aggressive

Men are shown in music videos, with fully cloths on, when women are in music video they are wearing revealing cloths, half the time they are not fully covered.
In music videos women are always traditional role of sex object.
In music videos men are shown as sex objective less.
Also in video games few female characters often wearing short cloths and revealing and also in advertising women bodies are used to sell product.

Positive representation:
In one of the scene Sarah Corner is sweating while doing pull-ups on the upturned frame of her bed this shows that she is muscular and manly.
Sarah leaps across the table and grabs the doctor’s throat, viciously attacking him when she is shown as violent and aggressive women she is desperate to escape. This is good because men thinks that female can’t do any think by there self.
In terminator (2) the female character Sarah Corner is positive because in the film she is represented as independent brave, powerful women she listens to her son and she is protective.
